CANADA DAY

Hi Maggie,

Hope you had a lot of fun at the Canada Day celebrations. I worked at the store during the day and Jim & I thought we would get in the festive mood so we wore very silly hats.

We had dinner with our friends Aneita & Bob and Dyan & Ron. Just after dinner there was a big storm with thunder and lightning and even hail. We thought the fireworks would be cancelled but it cleared up by 10:00 p.m. and we had a beautiful display which we watched from Bob's boat. (Bob & Aneita live on an island)

Sioux Narrows has a new bridge and they had a big ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the bridge yesterday. The picture is of the old bridge, I haven't taken a picture of the new one yet. It was beautiful during the day and there were hundreds of people out. It was a lot of fun.

We love you and miss you but are really looking forward to your visit.

FATHER'S DAY

Hi Maggie,

It was great to talk to you day. We really liked your song.

Granddad & I went out for dinner tonight with friends. We had a really good time. It was to celebrate Father's Day and our 46th Wedding Anniversary.

The pictures are of our friends Gayle & Dan and also of Robert MacDonald with a beautiful bouquet that he made from the flowers from his garden. You will meet all these people when you visit this summer.

Can hardly wait until you come to visit.

BACK IN SIOUX NARROWS

Hi Maggie,


We are back in Sioux Narrows. The weather has been cold but it is now very nice.

I am busy getting my garden ready for planting. Granddad hasn't been fishing yet but will probably put the boat in the water next week.

We are really looking forward to your visit. Hope you are having a good time in Brampton.

FUN IN SARNIA

Hi Maggie,

It was so much fun having you visit us in Sarnia for Thanksgiving. It was SO HOT! We had a good time at the beach and it was nice to cool down.

MY TRIP TO VANCOUVER

Hi Maggie,

I had a good time in Vancouver and had a lot of fun at Ken & Jen's wedding. Adam was the ring bearer and Kathryn was the flower girl. They did a good job and looked really cute. Adam stole the show at the reception with his dancing - he is really good.

I had a good visit with Uncle Allan & Aunt Donna and we did a lot. It was so nice to see them.

BACK FROM MY KAYAK TRIP

Hi Maggie,

I just got back from my three day kayak trip with my friend Aneita. We had a great time. The pictures show our little tent and me relaxing and cooking the dinner.

I hope you had fun on your camping trip.

Tomorrow I am going to Winnipeg and then on Thursday I fly to Vancouver to go your cousin Ken's wedding. I will try to send some pictures. Adam & Kathryn are also going to be there.

ANOTHER DAY ON THE LAKE

Hi Maggie,

We had another great day on the lake with Aneita & Bob. Granddad & Bob went fishing and got some fish. Aneita & I did a lot of kayaking.

Next week Aneita & I are going on a kayak/camping trip. We will sleep in a tent and do lots of kayaking and swimming. I will post some pictures when I get back.
